I, made in Hong Kong, enthusiast of dance and martial art, have two extreme feelings about human being include me, which are both love and hatred toward the beauty and the ugly of humanity. I am looking for a value by crafting my work, and I believe that I see it through the lens of TaiChi, I see everything back to “one”, it is just like the law of physics that we must obey but we never pay attention to, and that is the balance point i am interested in. I wish my work can share something we all in common but maybe we never pay attention to. I wish my work taste like the original Japanese green tea but also as strong as a double espresso. I wish my work like a gentle tender touch but also a heavy strike punch on your face.
I make work to show my understanding of myself, as a dancer, as a martial artist and as a human being.

I like this statement. Ever did we find completeness since we work on what we like? I do think that incomplete is not equal to imperfect, or vice versa. There is always a window left open for making things even better, especially when we are moving on to a different stage of life. Life is a non-stop process of refining. 忠於自己 to me is a standpoint of life. You won't get something complete without having yourself believing in it. Stick to what you believe, which I am sure many people will find resonance to your works. =)

Joc's comment :
